I wanted to let you know that I have started a city-initiated master plan amendment application to address relocating the street intersection with Bob Straub Parkway further south, i.e. beyond the southerly boundary of the Master Plan. I have a few questions for you about your plans for Phases 9 and 10: 1. Do you anticipate needing any master plan amendments to support Phases 9 and 10 besides dealing with Quartz Ave.? If so, I'd like to talk with you about rolling your amendments and ours into one package. 2. What is your time line for official application submittals? I am working toward completing the Master Plan Amendment by early 2011 and want to be sure that the Quartz Ave. amendment is completed before your applications arrive. 3. Since Branch Engineering prepared the original Master Plan documents, I was going to contract with them to prepare updated maps to reflect the Quartz Ave. amendment. Do you have any concerns authorizing their using products that they prepared for you to support this amendment? It would be helpful to meet and go through these questions and how I'm planning to proceed with the amendment when you're in town on Thursday.
