Hi John, , will forward your concerns to Greg Ferschweiler with Public Works Maintenance since he would be the primary contact for street tree removal/cleanup. Since he has a background in tree care, Greg might be the best staff person to advise you on pruning the pine trees along Harlow Road. If you don't hear from him in the next day or two, he can be reached at 541-726-3613. If the recommended course of action is removal of one or more pine trees, please let me know and we can discuss a tree replacement strategy that shouldn't require formal land use approvals (ie. a tree felling permit). Hi Andy, A large portion of pine tree must have fallen across the road. Sawn chunks and debris are considerable. I have no idea who did the work - whether it might have been the City or SUB. In any event perhaps you could schedule a trip out and we could take a look at what we are allowed to do to clean it up. There are als a couple of pine trees on Harlow Road that have a lot of dead wood in them. I'm interested in talking to you about what our alternatives are.
