Inc. 637 B Street Springfield, OR 97477 RE: 2278 Debra Street, Springfield, Oregon Dear Mr. Hastings: I'm writing in response to our phone conversation on March 20, 2000 concerning the property located at the above referenced address, As the new listing real estate agent its important you are aware of the minimum requirements that need to be met in order to bring the property into compliance with certain State and City codes. The following items remain to be completed: I. The rear detached shop building is not approved as a separate living unit and cannot be occupied as habitable or heated space. Permits and inspection approvals are required to be obtained for the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work that has been done illegally or be removed, 2, The kitchen at the south end of the house shall be removed and the exterior wall of the existing house filled in. Walls for this area were constructed on what was a patio concrete slab and under the existing roof of the patio cover. Electrical, plumbing and mechanical work in this area was installed without obtaining the . proper permits and inspection approvals and shall be removed, 3. The main house floor plan has been modified to provide separation from the south rental unit. The floor plan of the exiting structure shall be converted back to its original condition and the required permits and inspection approvals shall be obtained for this building alteration. .
