Dear Sirs,

This letter is in regards to property we own at 255 Deadmond Ferry
Rd. in Springfield. In early 2006 we submitted plans for a 7 unit apartment
complex on this property for review. We also applied for a LDAP permit at
approximately the same time. The city plans inspector granted approval for
the apartment complex and an LDAP permit was also granted for the project..
Both of these approvals are now getting close to expiring and we are
respectfully requesting a 180 day time extension on both. We have been
having issues relating to finalizing a contract with a builder and on coming
to consensus about construction mat~rials to be used on the project. We are
also concerned at this time about weather related issues surrounding
construction in the middle of a wet winter. We feel that the extensions we
are requesting would be adequate to!allow us the time we need to remedy
these issues and to begin constructiqn at a more favorable time of the year.
We thank you for giving consideration to these matters.
I
Sincerely,
~~
