Thank you for the MDS submittal. I am reviewing and assigning this morning. I think I will
have Mr. Limbird start on it upon his return on Monday. I have a few questions before we get
started though.
My first is: where are the definitions of what the former and proposed uses are?

My second is why are we talking truck repair and blasting in the same breath with Mr.
Jeremiah's company? If I went to BJ Equipment and asked them to re-tread my 18 wheels on my
semi and do a valve job they would laugh at me?
I worked with Kris on the MountainGate site, blasting and contouring basalt, they are the
cream of the crop at what they do, but its not commercial industrial truck repair. By their
own website they have been out of equipment work for 3e years. (See link.)
They may be doing their own vehicle maintenance, but that is secondary to their primary use-
Explosives? Drilling and Blasting? Are we talking about ONLY fleet maintenance on this site?
If we are talking about moving the entire operation next to a church and residences we have
to be asking what the operation comes under....Drilling and Blasting? Sounds Heavy Industrial
to me..... Explosives? That's a DU in the HI and wouldn't be permitted at the subject site.
I appreciate your approach to the question, I think we will have to make a determination of
the use, then the process for review.
