In response to your request I invest~gated the soil conditions at the above site to determine what would be required to make the lot suitable, for obtaining a building permit. Soil tests show that 6 inches of black topsoil and organic matter lie on top of a clayey gravel. The clayey subgrade will provide a suitable subgrade, for a normal stem-wall footing type foundation. I recommend that the topsoil be stripped and 6 inches of crushed rock be placed on top of the clayey gravel. This will be a suitable base for the foundation. I recommend that the to a minimum elevation of along the west side line, an elevation of 98.0. Daisy Street is an unimproved gravel street at this time. At some future date when the street is improved, the drainage will flow west to the existing AC which is approximately 400 feet west of the property referred to above. Constructing the foundation to an elevation of 99.0 would provide a suitable top of 99.0. the stem-wall be constructed The AC road which terminates as ,shown in drawing No. g989, is at grade for the roof runoff. The cost of improving TL 2900 would be 6 inches oj crushed rock to be spread over the entire area of the foundation plus 18 inches of fill around the perimeter of the foundation for site grading.
