Dear Mr. Karp:
As you know, this firm represents Shilo Inn Springfield, LLC with respect to
the Measure 37 Claim filed with the City. We are in receipt of your
applieation completeness review indicating the application was incomplete
for failure to provide, among other items, "all the specific Springfield
Development Code Sections that are believed to be relevant to the Claim."
Under separate cover in the same mail received today, the City provided us
with copies of the historical code that we requested of the City on
November 13, 2006.
Therefore, we will proceed to analyze the historical codes now received as
quickly as possible in order to comply with your "completeness review," but
we could not "specify" the particular provisions to be waived on the or~ginal
claim since we had not yet received the information requested of the City.
We trust that this letter will satisfy your requirements for a response within
10 calendar days as to the applicant's intention with regard to "completing"
the Claim. We understand that the City's 180 days to respond to the Claim
