ACCEPTANCE OF PROJECT P30492; GOLDEN EAGLE SUBDIVISION.
ACTION
REQUESTED:
Adopt or reject the following resolution:
A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PERMIT PROJECT P30492; GOLDEN EAGLE
SUBDIVISION.
ISSUE
STATEMENT:
This permit project was engineered by branch Engineering, Inc. and constructed by
H & J Construction Company. The contractor has completed work on this public
improvement project. The City Council must formally accept the contractor's work on
the project for the City's use, operation, maintenance, and ownership.

FINANCIAL
IMPACT:
This project involved the installation of public improvements consisting of 687 feet of
street, 575 feet of sidewalks in addition to approximately 439 feet of6 inch and 683
feet of 8 inch sanitary sewer line. A total of approximately 1,084 feet of storm line
was installed; 54 feet of 8 inch, 78 feet of 10 inch, 821 feet of 12 inch and 131 feet of
15 inch line.
The developer of the project is Mike Blankenship. All work has been inspected by
Branch Engineering, Inc. and the City Engineer and found to be satisfactory.
We do not have a fmal construction cost for this project, as it was privately
engineered, built and fmanced. There is no fmancial impact to the City other than
future maintenance responsibilities. '

RESOLUTION NO.
Acceptance
WHEREAS, work on the improvement described below has been fully completed and
has been duly inspected by the City Engineer of the City of Springfield:
P30492, Golden Eagle Subdivision Improvements, and
WHEREAS, said work was found to be in conformance with the terms ofthe contract
now on file in the City Recorder's office; and,
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Engineer that this improvement project
be accepted and permanently included in the improvement maintenance program ofthe City of
Springfield.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1) The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby accept for future
maintenance the above-described project and accepts said improvement from the
contractor involved.
2) This resolution shall take effect upon adoption by the Council and approval by the
Mayor.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield, Oregon, this 16th day of
July, 2007.
