Dear Carrie,
This letter is the sec()nd 'notification to the Springfield Arts Commission that the pocket park on
Main Street between 6th and 7'h Streets is slated to be demolished starting June 16, 2008. We
had a phone conversation on April 21, 2008, discussing whether or not the murals in the pocket
park had been documented.
Per the Site Plan Review Staff Report and Decision dated April 14, 2008, Condition 20 states
that the "applicant shall coordinate with the Springfield Arts Comniission regarding their desire
to document the existence of the two murals on either side of the pocket park". If no
response/action is made before June 16,2008 demo will begin and the murals will be effectively
covered.
Please contact me to coordinate documentation of the murals. Thank you for your attention to
these matters.
