The trees will be hand watered by the owner via a hosebib on the west side of the building on a schedule of o/.j" per week per tree during the dry season and pro-rated per precipitation received during other times. The instructor will teach a class during the 2008-2009 academic year which will provide instruction on the design and application of murals. The students will then participate in the design process. In June 2009, the instructor and students will begin painting the mural, to be completed by October 2009. The instructor will be chosen based on qualifications to teach, as well as the technical experience to successfully complete the work outlined. The cost of the mural will be substantiated based on the following criteria Salary of instructor responsible for design and installation Cost of paint materials, scaffolding, tarps, brushes and other consumable items Assumed pay rate per student per hour, multiplied by the time to paint the mural The design of the mural will happen during the 2008-2009 school year. Installation of the mural . will begin June 2009 and be completed by October 2009. As work on the mural will be part of formal coursework, arrangements will be made with student's schedules to ensure that work on the mural proceeds throughout the summer and early fall of the semester. . The mural will be a minimum of 37'-4" long, and will be a minimum of 317 square feet. Please .call me if you have any questions or require addi~onal information.
