Larry: My preference would be to have the preferred locations of the replanted trees shown on a plan before the trees are cut and removed. However, the tree species can be changed as necessary based on the feedback from the HOA- these notations can be added to the plan later. That should provide enough flexibility for both actions to be accomplished in a relatively short time. As we discussed during the meeting yesterday, if it's necessary to replant at a different location the City is amenable to making that adjustment in the field, even if it doesn't match the planting plan exactly. Hope this addresses your concerns and let me know on Monday if you have any other questions. Thanks Andy Limbird City of Springfield From: imalive7@juno.com [mailto:imalive7@juno.com] Sent: Friday. Your visit today' was very helpful. We appreciate the fleXibility to be able to take what would have been two of the internal trees that could not be satisfactorily replaced and add those to the ones going in on Harlow Road. As far as I'm concerned the end result was a great example of working together. All we have to do before submitting the final planting plan is t9 wait for the appeal process to finish. I assume you will notify Larry Miller if there are or aren't any appeals. I sincerely hope that the owners that were the most concerned are given the opportunity to recommend the kinds of trees to be planted. That has been my main goal. Thanks again.
