Dear Andy:
I am responding to Case Number DRC20l0-00002 regarding tree removal at 650 Harlow
Rd. I am very much against removing any more trees at the Pointe Condos. I think that
the "diseased" trees could be pruned. Those trees were planted as a noise barrier and for
privacy. The removal of the trees at the West End has left an unsightly gap. The
Homeowners Assoc. Board held a meeting regarding the tree removal and said that only a
few trees behind the garages would be removed.
I do not think that red maples are a good choice for replacement as they will cause more
leaves on the ground in the Fall and will be bare all winter.
An added note: the city could cut the postage budget by only sending me one copy, I
don't need three.
