As requested, a site visit was performed on August 17; 2005 at approximately'
9:00AM to observe site and soil conditions affecting a retaining wall being
constructed at the above location.
At the time of the site visit the forms and rebar were in place for the footing of the
wall. The form for the toe of the wall is located on undisturbed native grade. A
portion to the heel of the wall is located on 'I.' minus round rock, Dale Kast reported
. that this rock is likely from drainage work done 2-6 !;Rrr-'ago. It has been
determined that observed bearing conditions for the retaining wall footing are
acceptable,
Additionally, drainage conditions surrounding the proposed retaining wall were
observed. It has been determined that the perforated drain line specified in the
original plan for the retaining wall is no longer necessary, As an alternative weep
holes shall be installed as shown on the attached detail,
