Here are the Fire Department comments for the ancillary building modifications:

Existing Use: Parking lot and vacated public street
Proposal: Add secure parking lot and ancillary building

Fire Department Plans Review Comments:
Access: OK. Provide Knox keyed gate switches at both east and west electric gate entrances
(Springfield Fire Code 506.1.1).
Water Supply: OK.
Landscaping: A 3 foot clear space shall be maintained around the circumference of fire
hydrants (2007 SFC 508.5.5).
Landscaping: Immediate access to fire department connections shall be maintained at all times
and without obstruction by fences, bushes, trees, walls or any other object for a minimum of 3
feet (2007 SFC 912.3).
