Randy: Staff will be preparing the public hearing mailout notification and newspaper legal notice, which will probably go
out in mid-October. At present, the primary issue for staff is confirming that the annexation land description will meet
the requirements of the Department of Revenue. Staff review of the submitted boundary description suggests that it
will not be adequate for annexation purposes. The City Surveyor is - or will be - in discussions with your surveyor to
ensure the description of territory to be annexed can be adjusted to meet these requirements (which differ from a
standard boundary description). Aside from that, I don't have any updates or issues to discuss. Please let me know if
you have any other questions on this application. Thanks
