Any new gas station would be required by the City of Springfield to get some kind of land use approval (most likely a Site Plan Review). I hope this explains it to you. If not, let me know. I'm glad you contacted me because Fred Meyer is trying to development a fueling center at their 5thjQ street store. They have applied for a Development Issues Meeting to discuss this with the City. We invite outside agencies to these meetings if they are interested. If you or someone else from LRAPA wishes to attend the meeting or at least receive a packet of information, please contact Andy Limbird who is the planner in charge of the meeting. His email address is in the cc above or you can call him at 541 726-3784. Thanks for checking with us. 7/zraJones Planner 1 City of Springfieid Development Services Department 225 Fifth Street Springfieid, OR 97477 Phone: 541 736-1003 Fax: 541 726-3689 tiones@ci.sprinqfield,or,us From: Matthew R [mailto:matt@lrapa.org] Sent: Tuesday, January 26, 2010 2:24 PM To: JONES Terry (Tara) Subject: Land Use Compatibility Requirements Hi, I'm Matt Robinson with the Lane Regional Air Protection Agency. I was wondering if you could help me as we are beginning the process of permitting gasoline stations. Generally for our permits, a Land Use Compatibility Statement is required, are these already required of gasoline stations? Thank you, -Matt Robinson 1 Date Heceived: Planner: AL / h,,/rJ,,/o / /
