It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday. I am very pleased that you are interested in seeing Park & Ride continue at this
location.
It does provide such a benefit to local area commuters, with very convenient access to the LTD bus stop on 5th, as well as
an opportunity for commuters to meet their carpools/vanpools. At this point, we have not seen the usage that would
dictate the full 25 spaces that have been reserved for P&R, however, we certainly believe with the start of Em X service
slated for early 20 I I, this may become a very desirable location for Park & Ride. Additionally, L TD is looking at fairly
significant service reductions this year and we believe that carpooling will increase to fill the need.
. That being said, I just wanted to send you a copy of the current Park & Ride agreement between L TD and Fred Meyer.
