The applicant has provided an elevation certificate that demo~trates the base flood elevation is 450.4'. . SDC 3.3-420(B) requires the lowest floor to be elevated 12" above BFE. . The Oregon Manufactured Dwelling and Park Specialty Code requires that manufactured dwellings located in a flood hazard tone have a finished floor elevated a minimum of 18 inches above the BFE. The proposal will need to be revised to comply with this standard. . The foundation needs to include openings to allow entry and exit of floodwaters. Refer to SDC 3.3-420(B) and FEMA Bulletin 1-93. The foundation vents must be below the BFE. In addition, the bottom of the vents must be no more than 12" above grade. Dinwiddie Case No. DRC2009-00002 2 '. . . . " . Building permit C0M2009-01041 was submitted to place the home. The applicant can make the needed revisions through that process. .
