Child Center Site Review Appeal
Dear Bill:
I am writing to you to confirm our proposal for the Child Center appeal. If Mr. Weiland
agrees to delay his pending appeal on the site review fees until the study the City is
currently conducting on all land use application fees is completed and if the fee study
reveals that Mr. Weiland would be required to pay a lower fee than the amount he as
previously charged, Development Services would recommend to the City Council that he
be charged under the new fee schedule. If it is not, or in the event the City Council
does not accept the staff's recommendation, Mr. Weiland still has the option to appeal
the fees he was initially charged through the appeal process as outlined in the
Springfield Development Code.
As for moving forward with development, Mr. Weiland may proceed with his project.
The next steps for your client are to submit a final site review plan, pay the final site
review plan fee and execute a development agreement with the City. We do request,
however, that your client execute another 120 day time waiver.
Please let me know if this is agreeable to Mr. Weiland.
