I have reviewed the subject application for the quasi-judicial map amendment for the three tax lots from LDR
to PLO zoning of the property at 7390 McKenzie Highway. This action will actually decrease the volume of
trips generated by the property, thus decreasing the impact on the city street network; consequently, the
Transportation Section is in favor of this zoning map amendment.
As was stated in the related DIM (Zon2009-0007 for Musgrove Subdivision), access to Main Street is governed
by ODOT, and they will need to be contacted during the contemplation of the development of the remaining
LOR zoned area on Tax Lot 3705 of Map 17-02-35. Also a TIA will need to be jointly scoped by ODOT and the
City of Springfield.
