RESOLUTION NO. 10- 15
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD
AMENDING THE AMOUNT OF THE FIREMED MEMBERSHIP FEES.
WHEREAS, the City of Springfield is authorized to establish user fees in exchange for a
particular service which benefits the party paying the fee in a manner not shared by
others paying the fee; and,
WHEREAS, except for the increase in the FireMed Membership Fees as specified herein
the fees set forth in the Master Schedule of Miscellaneous Fees and Charges Rates
Permits and Licenses adopted 06 April 2009 remains unchanged and shall continue in
full force and effect; and,
WHEREAS, the opportunity for public comment at a public hearing has been provided
prior to the adoption of this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City Of
Springfield as follows:
1. The FireMed Membership Fees are amended as follows:
a. $62 per membership per year for regular memberships,
b. $57 per membership per year for JobCare memberships,
c. Group Discounted memberships not to exceed $10 per year, per
membership.
2. Except as specifically amended by this Resolution the Master Schedule of
Miscellaneous Fees and Charges Rates Permits and Licenses remains unchanged
and in full force and effect.
3. Future Resolutions of the Common Council may be adopted to amend add or
delete any rate permit fee license fee or other fee or charge as may be
necessary to compensate the City for providing the particular services setforth
in the Master Schedule.
4. This Resolution shall take effect on April 6, 2010.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield by a vote of --L for and
--L against, this 5th day of April 2010. ~
