Following the neighborhood meeting which was held on August 25, 1998, a number of meetings were held between our staff, legal counsel, and emergency services. Fortunately, I believe, adequate resolution has been reached for all involved. Jasper Park Subdivision to the west of you will be addressed following the City's standard addressing policies, Le., the even numbers will be on the north side of the street and the odd numbers will be on the south side of the street The new street in the subdivision that runs north and south will be named Hazelnut Lane instead of South 39" Street, which will allow us to continue to use the 3800 numbers in the new subdivision; Although these numbers will not align with addresses in the outer vicinity of the area, they will maintain sequential continuity. The City's sequential addressing policy for the northlsouthstreets will result in the odd and even numbers "switching sides" where the new subdivision meets with the existing residences. The Public Works Department has agreed to place a sign at the City limits Slating that the County addressing system will be in effect once you leave the City limits on both Pinyon and Osage Streets.
