Dear Mr. Puent:
This letter confirms our telephone conversation of March 11, 1992,
in which we indicated to you that the window in question meets
current code requirements.
In January of 1991, Mrs. carolyn Patterson Of~~":p~edmont--'----"
participated in the springfield utility Board's weather.iza:t:i,PIL__..........
program. Under our program new windows were installed. Mrs.
Patterson now wishes to remodel a portion of the home. The windows
installed under our program at that time do indeed meet the current
building code requirements ("40" series), therefore it is our
opinion that no upgrade of windows is necessary and Mrs. Patterson
can have the window simply "moved".
If you have any other questions or concerns our office is, as
always, at your service.
