Re: Springfield Cinema Fence
Dear Mr. Moyer:
I'm writing with regard to the fence separating the Springfield Cinema from the
residential properties abutting Scott Road. A recent observation found the
fence to be in poor repair. Boards are missing in several places allowing the
residential areas to be exposed to the commercial use of the area. Several of
the nearby residents are concerned about the condition of the fence.
As you know, at the time the plans for the Cinema were approved by the Spring-
field Site Plan Review Committee, screening of the south property line was re-
quired as one of the conditions for approval (please refer to the attached
copies of Resolution No. 73-40 and the Site Plan Review Board Minutes). There-
fore, this is your notice that by 30 days from the date of this letter (August
21, 1979), the fence must be repaired in such a way so that it screens the resi-
dential properties from the commercial use. Your anticipated co-operation is
appreciated.
Please direct all further inquiries to the Springfield Building Division at
726-3753.
Sincerely,
s.~
Inspector
