HomeMy WebLinkAboutOccupancy Correspondence 1984-8-15 . , SPRINGFIELD CITY OF SPRINGFIELD Department of Public Works August 15, 1984 Mr. Tim Ramsay, D.V.M. c/o Cascade Animal Clinic 1920 Olympic Street Springfield, OR 97477 Re: Occupancy Approval for 1920 Olympic Street Dear Tim, At the request of your contractor, Vince Hinton, I conducted a final building in- spection of the lease space being remodeled for your use as a veterinary clinic. This inspection revealed that an entry landing had been constructed at the new rear door in compliance with the Springfield Building Safety Codes and as directed last week by City Structural Inspector, Dave Puent. All other remodel work completed by your contractors under the provisions of the Building Permit #840479 has been approved by Building Safety Division Inspectors. There are, however, two pieces 'of equipment which have not yet been installed due to delays in delivery that require inspection of their plumbing connections by a City Plumbing Inspector when the installation is completed. Your plumbing sub- contractor has agreed to request this inspection when he has completed the work. Since no unsafe condition exists as a result of the work not yet completed, I have approved occupancy of the lease space during the interim period. When the two pieces of equipment are installed and inspection approval is granted by the Plumbing Inspector, the Certificate of Occupancy will be issued and our records of the permit will be finaled. If you have any questions regarding the content of this letter, please call me at 726-3669. Sincerely, ~6"-'~~ Lorne Pl eger Structural Inspector LP:sk 225 North 5th Street · Springfield.
