Subject: DRC2009-00032 MDS for 4490 Main Street
Please review the attached Type I MDS application for any issues or concerns and return comments to me
by Friday August 28.
This application is to allow an existing paved area at 4490 Main Street (formerly Rexius Forest By
Products, on the west side of Hyland Business Park) to be used as a parking lot over a 10-12 week period
starting on September 15th,. IP is having some special work done at their plant that necessitates bringing
in a large crew for this 12 week period. IP will be operating a shuttle to take workers back and forth
between this site and the plant. There will be two eight hour shifts of 100 persons each. They are
. proposing to only use one access point on Main Street and they are working \\lith ODOT now. They
would like to create space for 200 cars. The applicant will be providing me with the parking
configuration soon and I will send that along to you. They propose to fence off the unpaved area so that it
will not be parked on. The small sales office on the site will be used by a security guard.
