, (GENERAL)
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 5668 ARTICLE XIII "LOW INCOME
HOUSING TAX EXEMPTION", SECTIONS 2-13-1 THROUGH 2-13-8 OF THE
SPRINGFIELD CODE 1965, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD, OREGON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. Ordinance No. 5668 Article XIII "Low Income Housing
Tax Exemption", and Sections 2-13-1 through 2-13-8 to the
Springfield Code 1965, are hereby repealed.
section 2. It is hereby found and determined that matters
pertaining to tax exemption for low-income housing are matters
affecting the welfar~ of the City of Springfield, and that an
emergency is therefore found and declared to exist, and this
ordinance shall therefore take effect immediately upon its passage
by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
ADOPTED by Ahe.fommon Council of the City of Springfield,
this 5th day of prl , 1993 by a vote of 6
for and 0 against.
