(GENERAL)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 3, MECHANICAL SPECIALTY CODE" OF THE
SPRINGFIELD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT COMMUNITY SERVICES DIVISION
"BUILDING SAFETY CODES," AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:
Article 3 of the Springfield Department of Development
Services Community Services Division "Building Safety Codes"
is hereby amended to read as follows:
ARTICLE 3
MECHANICAL SPECIALTY CODE
Oregon State Mechanical Specialty Code - Adopted. Except as may
be hereinafter modified by this Article, the Oregon State
Mechanical Specialty Code, 1993 Edition, except Chapters 1, 2,
and 3 thereof, and including Appendix A and B, is adopted by
reference incorporated and made part of these codes. The
foregoing shall constitute the Mechanical Specialty Code of the
City.
Section 2:
It is hereby found and determined that matters pertaining to
mechanical safety are matters affecting the public health,
safety and welfare and that an emergency therefore exists,
and that this Ordinance shall therefore take effect
immediately upon its passage by the Council and approval by
the Mayor.
ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Springfield this 5th day of
April , 1993, by a vote of 6 for and 0 against.
APPROVED by the Mayor this
5th day of April , 1993.
