Periodic Inspection: 0 '-- -~' Met with Fortis Construction representatives to observe completed excavations of hoist/equipment removal areas in bays 6 and 7 inside existing building (Note: hoists and surrounding soils at west ends of bath bays had already been removed and excavations were backfilied with CLSM prior to today's site visit). Excavation depth generally ranges between 7:5 and 8,5 feet below existing slab. elevation. Previous east/west pit slabs have been left in-place at the bottom of the excavations in both bays. Near vertical excavation side walls, mainly consisting of crushed rock, appear generally stable at this time. Base of excavations appear relativeiy free of debris and/or loose materials.
