Continuous Inspection: 0
Periodic Inspection: 0
Performed final inspection on the reinforcing steel for east wall of fiiter basin.
Preliminary reinforcing steel inspection was performed by our office on 11-10-09 (ref:
FEI report E-24515).
Observed the placement of 40.0 yards of Knife River 4000 psi concrete (mix
2440KIUOKS) into walls noted above. Concrete was placed by pump and was
mechanically consolidated. Cast one (1) set of four (4) 4" x 8" concrete test cylinders
from load 1. Jake Stucky (Wildish) and Mike Stickling (EWEB) were advised of the on-
site test resuils. Load 1: slump - 6"; air temperature - 49F; concrete temperature -
65F; air content at beginning of ioad - 3.6% and near middle of load - 2.9%. Air
content at beginning of load 2 - 3.2%. Load 2 was rejected by Mr. Stickling and Mr.
Stucky. Air content at beginning of load 3 - 6.0%
To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with plans dated
02/2008 and applicable workmanship provisions of the I.B.C., except i(noted above.

Pe.rformed final inspection on the reinforcing steel for filter building, east half of
suspended slabs above 24" FW IBW pipes and center section of suspended walkway
on west side. A preliminary inspection was performed on 10-30-09 (ref: FEI report E-
24445).
Observed the placement of 18.0 yards of Knife River 4000 psi concrete (mix 40-SE7)
into areas noted above. Concrete was placed by pump and was mechanically
consolidated. Cast one (1) set of four (4) 4" x 8" compressive strength cylinders.
Notified Jake Stucky (Wildish) of the on-site resuits. Slump - 8"; concrete temperature
- 63F; air temperature - 48F; air content - 4.6%.
To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with plans dated
02/2008 and applicable workmanship provisions of the I.B.C., except if noted above.
