ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO rilE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD

By this correspondence, let it be known that:
1. A petition for annexation of territory to the City of Springfield-located in southeast Springfield,
north of Jasper Road, north of North Street, west of Filbert Lane, east of S 39th Street (T18S
R02W S06 Map II tax lot 800)-was filed on February 22, 2006, with the Lane County Local
Government Boundary Commission in accordance with ORS 199.466 and ORS 199.490(2)(a)(B).
2. An analysis was prepared by the boundary commission staff with a recommendation of approval
and was sent, on March 8, 2006, to the Lane boundary commission members; Lane County
commissioners; Lane County Land Management Division; Lane County Environmental Health
Division; City of Springfield; Willamalane Park and Recreation District; Willakenzie Rural Fire
Protection District; George and Theresa Isaksen; and Jeannette Applauso at Branch Engineering.
3. No request for public hearing was received by 5:00 p.m., March 20, 2006.
4. This annexation proposal, described in attached Exhibit A and shown on attached map Exhibit B,
is hereby approved March 20,2006, (ORS 199.466) and effective May 17, 2006 (ORS 199.519).
Please acknowledge receipt of this correspondence.
NOTE: The annexation area is within Willakenzie Rural Fire Protection District and will automatically
be withdrawn in accordance with ORS 199.510(2)(a).
In accordance with ORS 199.510(2)(c), the annexation area is hereby part of the Lane County
Metropolitan Wastewater Service District and the Willamalane Park and Recreation District.
