The Engineering Division has conducted a site visit and reviewed the materials provided with the
subject application. The comments beiow are provided for your use in preparing the land-use
decision. Please contact me with any questions.
Site Description
The subject site is located at 2422 and 2430 Main St.. The applicant is proposing an addition and
remodel of the building.
Finding: ~ursuant to Chapter 3.03.4.A of the City's Engineering Design Standards and
Procedures Manual and Section 4.4 of Portland's Stormwater Management Manual, solid waste
storage areas shan be covered and hydraulicany isolated from potential stormwater runoff, and
directed to the sanitary sewer system.
Recommended Condition: The applicant shall cover, hydraulically isolate, and drain to
sanitary sewer, the solid waste storage area.
