RE: Portable Sign and Banner
It is our practice to notify businesses when we have notice, or have received a complaint regarding a
possible violation of the Sign Code on your property.
11lere is currently a portable sign located on your property. A portable sign is a sign which is not
permanently anchored to a building or to the ground. Portable signs are not allowed to be placed either in
the right of way or on private property. I have enclosed the Code section for your information. The
ponable sign needs to be removed within the next seven (7) days.
Banners are allowed by a special permit once a year for a ten (10) day period. The cost of the permit is
$40.00 with a refundable $100.00 deposit provided the banners are removed by the end of the tenth day. I
have enclosed the Code section and an application for your use if you choose to apply. 111e banner that is
currently located on your property needs to either be removed, or you can apply for the special banner
permit within the next seven (7) days.
