Dear Mr. Michelson & Mr. Gill:
At your request an occupancy inspection was made by the Building Division
of the City of Springfield on September 26, 1977 at 1448 Main Street.
The manager, Mr. Dave Hill gave us access to apartment #9. It was observed
that remodeling work including plumbing, electrical and building was
being done without applicable permits being first obtained. To do any
remodeling without. a building permit is a violation of the Uniform Building
Code as adopted by the City of Springfield. All plumbing and .electrical
work shall be accomplished by licensed contractors.
A complete set of drawings shall be furnished to the Springfield Building
Division showing the work that is to be done before any further work is
accomp 1 i shed. .
All applicable permits shall be obtained and all work shall be accomplished
according to applicable codes and inspected before a Certificate of Occu-
pancy will be issued.
