Dear Mr. Jacobsen:
I'm writing regarding a fenced storage lot located just to the west of El Rancho
Trailer Park, .1.263 Main Street, Springfield, Oregon. As I understand, the lot is
used for storage of extra mobile homes, trailers and other miscellaneous
equipment in conjunction with the mobile home park use. Because the lot is
zoned commercial and is surrounded by a six foot high, solid fence, no zoning
violation exits. However, we've recently received several inquiries about
vagrants using the trailers and truck in the storage yard for shelter. Some
nearby residents have expressed concern about this situation.
I'm notifying you of this potential problem that may exist for the park and for
surrounding residences and businesses so that you may alert the Park Manager to
watch for this situation. Thank you in advance for your attention to this
matter.
