Thank you for sending the Taco Bell DIM packet. I won't be at the meeting, so below are a few comments for
you.
The site is in the 1- 5 TOTZ to the 16th & Q Street well. During construction, the DNAPL prohibition and all the
standard DWP guidelines will apply (I'll send the detailed guidelines at site plan review). We'd like them to
post wellhead protection signs temporarily during construction and permanently at the building entrance and
at the trash enclosure,
The applicant will need to file either a DWP permit exemption request or application, I would assume they
would qualify for an exemption.
The applicant's first question asks about the limits of storm water management improvements, We hope that,
at the very least, the stormwater catch basins can be upgraded with hydro-carbon filters to meet the City's
standard when there is no vegetative treatment.
The ap,plicant also asks about using the existing trash enclosure with upgrades, We'd like the trash enclosure
to be designed to drain to sanitary.
