As I said in my voice mail, I won't be able to attend the DIM tomorrow. I think that's probably not a problem because the
applicant's questions don't seem to be directed at Willamalane. But I wanted to share a co'Uple of thoughts with you for
future reference.' '
As you no doubt realize, the subject property is adjacent to the Jasper Meadows subdivisi6n and to two Willamalane
natural area park parcels that are within the JM subdivision (see the green shaded areas on the attached diagram).
1 had trouble seeing exactly how the proposed development lines up with JM, so I asked o'Ur Planning Assistant to prepare
a composite rTiap (attached) showing their sketch next to the plan diagram from the Jasper Meadows Master Plan.
As the composite illustrates, the applicant's proposed streets do not line upwell with the stubbed-out streets in JM.

I've sketched in red a suggested realignment of their streets to address this problem and t9 minimize impacts to the
wetland area (by crossing the wetland area diagonally to its long (north-south) axis rather than bisecting it along the length
of its n-s axis). This realignment would also have the beneficial effect of joining a small portion of the wetland area (in the
northeast corner of the subject property) with the Willamalane-owned wetland area in JM.
I realize that it may be way too early in the planning process to be getting down to this level of detail. If so, then feel free
to consider these remarks as just FYI. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns"
