RE: Nowak partition plat, SU B200B-00040
Hi Chris, this situation was noted and discussed at the partition plat pre-submittal meeting. At the time of partition
approval, the SUB power pole was located at the northwest property corner and service lines were extended from that
point to serve the properties. The power pole was subsequently moved about lS feet south to make room for the
driveway, but the overhead line for the property to the north wasn't re-routed. Because the adjacent parcel isn't within
the area subject to partitioning, it wasn't a requirement of the non-participating property owner to place the line
underground. However, the applicant is accommodating the third-party utility line through the private utility easements
that are to be dedicated with the plat. Hope this makes sense, and thanks for bringing this to my attention. Enjoy the
weekend!
Andy

Hi Andy,
Just wanted to bring something to your attention that I've noted while checking this plat. I have comments almost
completed, and was going to send them out this afternoon. But, our field check noted that there is an overhead line
crossing over the property being platted and serving the property to the North. It is within the existing utility easement,
but I wasn't sure if it is normally a planning requirement that we require all overhead utilities crossing to a private
property over a private property that is subject to platting to be placed underground? I also noted that they didn't show
this overhead encroachment on the existing conditions or tentative plan plots.
