RE: Requirements for Final OCCUDanCy ADDroval
1. Mechanical ventilation shall be kept in operation at all. times while
spraying operations are being conducted and for a sufficient time there-
after to allow vapors from drying coated articles and dry finishing material
residue to be exhausted. The electrical equipment shall be interlocked
with the ventilation of spraying area so that the equipment cannot be
operated unless the ventilation fans are in operation. U_F.C_ 45.206 (b)
2. Fire sprinkler system control valves on the main riser shall be chained
and locked in the open position. N.F.P.A. 13. 3-14.2.3
3. Type of Lock or Latch: Exit doors shall be openable from the inside
without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. Manually
operated edge or surface mounted flush bolts and surface bDlts are
prohibited. S.S.C. & F.L.S.C. 3303 (c)
Operation Df paint spray room shall not be allowed until the above requirements
are completed and approved.
