Descriotion
ELECTRICAL
Discontinue use of extension cords in lieu of permanent wirinQ.
Each outlet box shall have a cover faceplate or fixture canopv.
Maintain 30 inches clearance in front of electrical Danel.
Maintain wirinQ in Qood condition and protect from damaae.
Discontinue use of non-aporoved multi-pluQ adaPters.
EXITS
Remove unapproved locks or latches from exit doors.
Unlock all exit doors durina business hours.
Remove obstructions from exits. aisles. corridors. and stairways.
Repair or maintain exit door and hardware to operate prooerlv.
EXIT LIGHTING
Maintain liShtinq for exit siQns.
Provide liahtln!1 for corridors. stairways. and exterior stairwavs.
Exits shall be illuminated at all times the buildinQ is occupied.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Provide extinauishers of minimum ratina.
Mount extinQuishe" where readily available. with top not hiQher than 5 feet.
Post sians indicatinq location where extinQuishers are not readilv visible.
Service and ta9 each extin9uisher annually and after use.
FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM SYSTEMS
Maintain access to and operation of standpioes. fire hose. sprinkler valves and fire hydrants.
Insoect and test sorintder system and maintain records.
Insoect and service hood and duct extinQuishinp system over cooklnQ eQuioment.
Provide and maintain smoke detectors in proper operatinp condition.
Inspect and maintain fire alarm system and maintain records.
Secure or monitor sprinkler valves in an open position.
FIRE SEPARATIONS
Remove obstructions from fire doors and maintain to opGrate 'properly.
Seal unapproved ooenlnQs \llflth approved material.
Keep attic access and scuttle ooeninQs closed.
Maintain clear access to extinauishers at alt times. .
FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS
StoraQe in excess of 10 nallons Class I. II 0; III-A Iiauids used for rT1aintainimce and operation shall be stored in 8n
aporoved storaQe cabinet.
Limit storaQe and displav of Class I. II or III-A liquids to allowable Duantities.
Remove lIauids not stored in aooroved containers.
