Dear Mr. Stapleton:
The Springfield Development Code (SDC) 3 1.010 requires any business that has changed use or expanded
by no more than fifty percent or 10,000 square feet to be reviewed for Minimum Development Standards
(MDS)o These standards help establishments comply with new development standards without the cost and
time required for a full site plan review. Your proposal to re-conslroct a 1,107 ~uare foot stomge shed at
the rear of the existing repair garage requires an MDS reviewo The following cOnditions must be met at
2310 main Street to successfully complete the MDS process:

provided. Please contact a bank or bonding company for estahlishment of security if the improvements are
deferred.
