We have been in contact with Bruce Newhouse and we seem to be further apart on what should be done to complete the project than when we first talked to him. In our discussions, we have the feeling he doesn't understand the code (see enclosure notes). We have tried to comply with all the city building codes concerning the construction at that site and felt we had done a reasonable job. If you review the enclosed drawing you possibly will see why we are confused. It appears we could (or should) place a tree on the North-East corner close to the driveway. The question of cost to place the trees at this late date is not the concern. If the city would like several more trees we can put them in. As most people don't understand, the trees are great to look at but create a large concern for businesses as they grow and block out visual clearance to the location or hide the ident- ification sign of the business. conform to code. In this case, we are trying to -- I . Please let me know what you would like to have planted and how we could be this far off in communication on the subject. We thank you in advance for your time in reviewing the matter. G~{U.L Bill McCabe cc: Russ McCabe Enclosures: .,.
