Dear Mr. Gibons:
This letter will confirm our conversation of September 8, 1992.
I have attached a copy of the defense counsel's initial report regarding
the above-captioned case. As we discussed, please refer to paragraph 2,
whereby Mr. Kurtz has requested additional information regarding this case.
In order to proceed with the defense of this case, we need to determine the
following:
1. If the Mitchell Motel has ever had a safety inspection.
2. If there was an inspection, when it occurred.
3. Are there any records of any safety complaints from anyone
regarding the Motel; if so, the nature of those complaints.
During our conversation, you indicated that you would check with the
various department heads regarding this additional information.
In the meantime, if there is someone I should contact directly regarding
this matter, please let me know.
