The proposed use as a Health Club and Delicatesen will categorize the
structure as an A-3 occupancy. The following items shall be
installed, repaired or replaced in order to conform to the applicable
codes for that occupancy
STRUCTURAL SPECIALITY CODE AND FILE AND LIFE SAFETY CODE
1. Roof leaks are evident at several locations throughout the
building necessitating repair or replacement of the roof
covering. The roof structure should be checked for moisture
damage and repaired as necessary.
2. Front Exit - This door may continue to be used with a lock
which is keyed on the inside, provided there is a readily
visible, durable sign on or adjacent to the door stating, "THIS
DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED DURING BUSINESS HOURS".
3. Provide two fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2-A
(recommend 51b ABC TYPE). Contact the City Fire Department for
proper placement.
4. Verify operation of all exit lighting and exit signs prior to
occupancy.

1. REMOVE ALL electrical outlets on the raised floor which were not
installed with approved materials or approved wiring methods.
The above' ' requirements are based on the existing building only
and do not address possible plans for modifications or additions by
your prospective tenants.
Additional information on the type

additional ventilation and/or extinguishing
of food service equipment
needed to determine if
systems will be necessary.
Please note that the addition of equipment or fixtures which
will necessitate extensions or modifications to the existing
'plumbing, electrical, mechanical or structural systems will require
that building permits be obtained from this office prior to
installing the equipment.
