OREGON -97477 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS Julyll,1977 346 MAIN STREET ~~~ 726..170.1 Mr. Ken Walton 3522 Main Street Springfield, OR 97477 * Dear Mr. Walton: The Building Division of the City of Springfield made an inspection at the building located at 3500 Main Street pursuant to a fire at that location on or about June 29, 1977. . The following items shall be repaired or replaced for the building to conform to the app 1 i cab 1 e codes adopted by the City of Spri ngfi e 1 d: 1. The fire damaged walls in the interior of the building shall be removed or replaced. 2. All electrical wiring and service shall be replaced. 3. The metal trusses that were exposed to the fire shall be replaced or repaired. If they are repaired, an engineer's report will be required stating how repairs are to be accomplished. 4. All spray painting shall be done in an approved spray booth or spray room. The existing spray booth shall be made to comply with the Uniform Fire Code. 5. Refinishing of boat hulls shall be done in approved areas with approved venting system. Refer to the Uniform Fire Code and the Uniform Mechanical Code. All applicable permits shall be obtained before work starts and all work shall be inspected before a Certificate of Compliance will be issued.
