RE: 3415 Main Street, Occupancy Inspection
Pursuant to the occupancy inspection made by the Building Division, of
the City of Springfield on July 26, 1977 of the structure located at
3415 Main Street, which you requested for a change of occupancy from
an existing non-classified building to an E-3,Woodworking establish-
ment.
In our letter of August 2, 1977 you were informed that the structure
does not comply with virtually any of the requirements for a E-3
occupancy.
On August 11, 1977, via a telephone call from you, you asked if the
building could be used as a furniture store. A furniture store would be
an F-2 occupancy and I must inform you that the structure again virtually
does not comply with any of the requirements for an F-2 occupancy.
Therefore I must reiterate the notice in the letter of August 2, 1977,
that unless the Building Division of the City of Springfield receives
drawings with an application for a building permit within thirty (30)
days (from August 2,) this building as a woodworking establishment shall
be discontinued immediately.
