Dear Mr. Neel:
This letter responds to your request for approval of a 2-hour fire
resistive area separation wall, constructed to divide the existing
warehouse structure from the proposed addition, Section 505.(e) of the
State Structural Specialty Code and Fire and Life Safety Regulations
provides in part:
(el Area Separation Walls: Each portion of a building separated
oy one or more area separation walls may be considered a
separate building, provided the area separation walls meet
the following requirements:
Approval of your request as submitted, is hereby granted. I will include
your proposal as part of the approved buildin9 plans on file.
