The following list corresponds to your PLAN REVIEW/CORRECTION
LIST supplied us on 8 July, 1986.
1. Occupancy: Occupancy will be assumed to be B-2.
2, Construction Type and Allowable Area:
a. Construction of addition will be Type III-N.
This will be accomplished by constructing a
I-hr. wall on the west side. The I-hr. wall
will consist of the following:
* Standard deformed metal siding.
* 5/8" gypsum sheathing.
* Insulation.
* Steel studs (8'-0") at 24" O.c.
* Horizontal steel z girts at nominally
0', 8', and 16'.
* 5/8" Type X gypsum wall finish, fire
taped (inside finish). '
b. Construction of existing building will be upgraded
to Type III-N by retrofitting a I-hr. wall on the
west side using the fOllowing construction sequence:
* Leave exterior skin of deformed metal
siding and l~" vinyl-faced insulation
in place. _

girt and eave channel.

c. NOTE:: The l-hr. assembly at the addition is con-
ventiorial in every way. The I-hr., retrofit assem-
bly at "the existing differs from a conventional.
assembly only in the construction sequence; i.e.
assembly from the inside.
B-2, Type III-N, Separation 3 sides. Allowable
area: 24,000 sq. ft.
If sprinklering is added in future and 3 side
separation is maintained. allowable area will
increase 300% ~6,000 sq. ~r--Veriiicatlon
of this point is vital for future planning.

The interior ramp has a wall (existing) on the south
side. The west and ,_north sides are for loading. The
varying height norkh-Fall is to accommodate various
height trucks from mini-pickup to flatbeds to highway
trailers. It is located'inside the building to pro-
tect the general public.

All flame spread ratings shall exceed code minimums
at exposed roof and wall insulation.

4" closed roof drain piping will be provided parallel
to east and west walls and sloping south to connect
to drain from sump at truck dock.

10. Provided: iAC paving to be nearly flush to accommodate
hand trucks.
11. Addition is to be insulated, but to prevent condensation.
Existing \puilding is to become order work-up area, addi-
tion is bblk storage. Stationary ventilation unit pro-
vided ate~ch bay. No new heating anticipated.
