,particularly described as lane County Assessor's Map #17 02 32
31, Tax LDt #03005 are dangerous or unsafe buildings as described
in Section 203 of the Springfield Building Code Administrative
Code. Please refer to the attached copy of this Section. Our
records indicate that you are the owners of, this property.
Section 204 of the Springfield Building Code Administrative Code
requires taht all structures found to be substandard, unsafe or
,dangerous be repaired or demolished.

5. The structure has 00 plumbing fixtures.
6. The interior is incanplete and several bare studs have
been notched to accomodate plumbing pipes a greater
amJunt than the maximum pennitted to prevent undermining
the structural integrity of the studs.
B. Accessory Structure
The rear accessory structure is also open and accessible
and =ntains raw garbage.
This is your notice that you must secure permits to either
rebuild both the main building and the accessory building
(Section '104 of the Springfield Building Safety Codes
J\dministrative Code requires that they be rebuilt to canply with
all provisions of the Springfield Structural Specialty Code and
Fire and Life Safety Code.) or to demolish them. If the
buildings are to be rebuilt, plans must be sutmitted by April 25,
1985. Pennits must be purchased and ..urk must ~~,...=.ce by May
10, 1985. If the buildings are to be derrolished, derrolition ..urk
must cannence by April 25, 1985 and must be canpletedby May 25,
1985. Canpletion means that the structures and j,'~up=~...y must be
inspected and approved by at't'~ut'~iate representatives of the
Building Safety Division. Pennits to rebuild or derrolish can be
obtained at the Springfield Public W:>rks Depa.. ;",,,,".t, 225 North
5th Street.
If you do not take corrective action within the time frames
outlined above, the City will. seek canpliance with the Building
Safety Codes through legal re=urse Which may include Municipal
Cburt proceedings or the City may proceed to eliminate the hazard
and charge the =sts thereof against the j,'~up=~...y or its
owner(s) .
Any person having any record title or legal interest in the
. j,'wp=~....y may appeal fran this notice and order to the Building
Board of Appeals, provided the appeal is made in writing and
filed with the Bulding Official within thirty (30) days fran the
date of service of this ootice and order. Failure to appeal will
=nstitute a waiver to all right to an administrative hearing and
determination of the matter. .
