Re: Property located at 4270 Main Street, Springfield, Oregon
The above mentioned property formerly housed a'Dunkin Doughnut facility. This
facility was listed under the category of restaurant in the Springfield
Development Code (SDC). The current use" LaBatt's, where food is prepared on
site and tested elsewhere, is considered to be scientific research. Since
this is a change of use. Minimum Development Standards (MDS) apply.
I visited the site last week and found that one street tree needs to be
planted in the the already landscaped area in front of the existing building.
I am enclosing an MDS application form and a list of street trees from the
SOC. The application needs to be signed by the property owners. No plan
needs to be drawn in this case. However, the name of the tree to be planted
will be required.
